The BX Series of edge-lit backlights provides a highly diffuse source of illumination, packed within a thin and thermally efficient housing. These backlights can be configured with or without the addition of a polarization film. For applications requiring refined edge clarity when imaging object silhouettes, Ai’s CX Edge-lit Backlights offers similar features to the BX Series, plus a built-in edge enhancing collimation film for enhanced precision.
While the BX Series is a great choice for many applications, it’s important to note that uniformity may decrease when configuring units larger than 16″ x 16″. For applications requiring consistent, high-output uniformity across larger areas, we recommend our BL2 Series of back-lit backlights, which maintain their uniformity regardless of size.
